These terms govern your use of Patr, a macOS application built by Imagine Engine LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”).
Patr is a native Mac app that reads and archives your iMessage history locally on your computer. When you purchase a license, you receive a one-time, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the software on your personal Mac.
Patr costs $19.99 as a one-time purchase. This includes all future updates to the current version. No subscription, no recurring charges.
Your license key is the transaction ID provided after purchase. Keep it safe — it’s your proof of purchase and your way to activate the app. One license is valid for one user.
Your data is yours. We never access, store, or claim any rights to your messages, bookmarks, tags, analyses, or any other data created within Patr. Everything stays on your Mac.
The Patr software, its design, code, and branding are the property of Imagine Engine LLC. You may not redistribute, reverse engineer, or resell the software.

Patr is provided “as is.” We do our best to make it great, but we can’t guarantee it will be free of bugs or work perfectly in every environment. We are not liable for any data loss — please maintain your own backups.
Patr reads data from Apple’s Messages database (chat.db). We are not affiliated with Apple. Apple’s terms of service govern your use of iMessage and the Messages app.
We reserve the right to revoke a license if it’s being used in violation of these terms. You can stop using Patr at any time by deleting the app.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona.
